Well I made the mistake of using Amazon's "Will This Work with Your Printer." and unfortunately now I can't review the quality of the ink, because when I put the cartridge in, my printer tells me its incompatible. It fits in there fine and supposedly interchanges with the standard black ink cartridge for my printer, but obviously HP doesn't want you to use the higher capacity ink cartridges on some printers.So I am buying a much better priced no-name alternative and throwing this one out.
It's hard to complain with the larger ink capacity (21ml) and HP's method of incorporating a new print head with each new cartridge. Buying directly from HP is a good economical alternative.
Ink sometimes prints with lines (pins are broken), and ink is expensive but there isn't a lot of options this is the most affordable black ink option for my printer
It produces good quality prints and is WAY cheaper. I don't see why anyone would buy new ink. I bought the refurbished version of this cartridge. It seems to last the same number of pages as the new cartridge.
